David Wecht

While being a lawyer for over 35 years, David Wecht began his professional career as a math teacher. With a masters in math education from Montclair State University, Mr. Wecht was able to teach at both the high school and collegiate levels. He spent his summer months aiding those who struggled in the subject and ensured that each and every one of them left his classroom with a firm understanding of mathematics. His passion for the subject was evident in his lessons and soothed the anxious thoughts and nervous questions students may carry.

After the two years he spent teaching, Mr. Wecht decided to change careers and went on to study law at George Washington University. Upon graduation in 1989, he worked at law firms both large and small where he was able to specialize in corporate, real estate, and contract law. After working at these law firms, Mr. Wecht decided to open up his own practice over 25 years ago, continuing to specialize in corporate, real estate, and contract law. His client base consists of individuals and families, and companies with up to 50 employees. Regardless of how long Mr. Wecht has spent working in law, his passion for helping his clients has remained. Throughout his entire professional career, both as a teacher and lawyer, Mr. Wecht prioritizes the needs of those around him. He believes that as a professional, he must do whatever he can to ensure his clients are protected and given every opportunity to succeed.

He is a man known for his well established career as well as his friendship and guidance. David Wecht treats everyone he encounters as a friend and welcomes all to his table.
